The specifications of patterned steel plates are expressed in terms of basic thickness (thickness of protruding edges is not included), and there are 10 specifications ranging from 2.5 to 8 mm. Use No. 1-3 for pattern plate steel plates.
The welds on the surface of the tread plate should be polished and smooth before anti-corrosion work can be carried out. In order to prevent the thermal expansion and contraction of the plate from causing weld fracture or arching deformation of the steel plate, a 2mm expansion joint should be reserved at the splicing point of each steel plate. Rain leakage holes should be set at the lower part of the steel plate, with a hole diameter of 10mm and a distance of 1m.
In order to ensure construction safety, temporary railings should be erected before laying the platform pattern plate, or railings should be installed first and then the platform steel plate can be laid. The height of the temporary railing is 1050mm, which is erected on scaffolding with a protective pole in the middle. The surface of the protective railing should be smooth and burr-free, and the structure should be free of defects.
